Currently, the department actively oversees on laboratories of soil analysis, geomorphology, lithology, rangeland analysis and assessment, cartography, meteorology, water and soil conservation engineering, river engineering, wind dynamics, wind erosion, plant physiology, herbarium, and social-ecological system modeling, which offer services aligned with the students and professors' educational and research activities. 
Taleqan Research Station is another facility supervised by the department, which is used for conducting bachelor's projects, master's theses, doctoral dissertations, and other research programs related to the department's scientific center or other department professors' research programs.
